
Catch Reports
The carp fishing has now began to pick up now, with a few low doubles and high singles being caught with dog biscuit and bread on the surface, and the usual boilies, sweetcorn and pellet fished in the margins doing well.
People fishing for silver fish have been catching all over, with roach (up to 2lb) making up the bulk of the catches, along with a number of tench appearing. Bags of over 100 fish has been possible with ide to 3lb ,perch, rudd and the odd barbel to 2 1/2 lb.
Maggots on the waggler/pole as well as sweetcorn, pellets and luncheon meat have all been catching.
9 carp over 3lb caught in the last week of the month (2 doubles at 10 & 11lb) to pop ups and sweetcorn.
Ide (to 2 1/2 lb), roach, perch and a few small carp caught on maggot . Water temp 5-6 Deg.C

Good catches of roach and ide (To 2lb) at the start of the month from
both ends of the reservoir. As the weather got colder ,the fish were
being caught from the middle weed bed down to the dam wall. Along with
the usual gudgeon ,there were a few "goldfish" ,some small
tench,chub,perch and the occasional bream to 3lb,mostly caught on
maggot.
